How much is the general fee for op to remove stones from cat bladder?
My cat had op yesterday. Just realised on insurance that as she is over 9, i have to pay 20% of bill myself. Am dreadin tomorrow-does anyone have any idea how much this will cost-I didn’t ask as i assumed I was fulled covered, bar the usual £50 excess.
Each vet has a different pay schedule. So it is difficult to tell you how much the surgery will be. You could have asked for an estimate before the procedure was done
My cat who is 19yr had gone through two bladder removal surgeries. Now being in Canada I had to pay $600.00 each time. He had the suregies within two yrs of each one. He did well considering at the time he was considered a senior cat..
He recoverd well althought had to be place on a special diet due to the type of stones he had, so they did not return.
